Hey everyone, I'm Jocelyn aka Musicklover. Welcome to my profile!

I've been a music lover all my life, and have been trained in piano, flute, guitar and voice. I've also been trained by my dad to fully appreciate classic rock groups like: Journey, Styx, Chicago, Fleetwood Mac, Police, the Eagles and Billy Joel. I listen to music without focusing on a specific genre. I'll go on a huge random music chain starting with Taylor Swift and then moving through RuPaul, Josh Groban, Celine Dion, Jason Derulo, Michael Buble, The Ready Set, and Foxy Shazam without care of genre as long as I'm listening to good music.

Elton John is one of my favorite performers and Vocal Point is one of the best a cappella groups around.

I have performed in choirs, musicals, and right now my new thing is performing at karaoke bars. 

I've always loved music and writing. While I lack the talent to write music, I can at least write about music. So that is what I've chosen to do. I want to write about music, classic/new artists, and the popular/local music events.

I want to introduce you to the great things about music. Whether it's to introduce you to classic bands or to new fresh artists. Or whether it's to inform you of the nominees at popular music events like the Grammys or the Academy of Country Music, or to let you know about the hottest sounds on the market.
